What happens if I do it RIGHT?

Habitually and part of of human biology and evolution we, as humans are subconsciously programmed to look for threats/problems, its survival. Over the millennia, these threats have shifted and morphed into other 'things' stress, anxiety or distraction and as a parent this becomes the default program when protecting our kids.

What happens if I do it right is a new perspective for parents to explore and will require work, there is no quick fix here, however, incrementally everyday you can make progress.  We all want our kids to experience life with more colour, this burning desire for them to exceed academically, socially in sporting endeavours.  So how do we give them every opportunity to express their individual brilliance?

If you were to write a personal  journal every morning as a parent, looking for three things to be grateful for everyday and you can not use the same thing, it needs to be original everyday, it becomes rather difficult after a week unless there is a paradigm shift in thinking, or more importantly what your mind's filter is actually looking for. At some stage with this journal process you are required to force yourself to look for new things to be grateful for and you will notice that you will need to actively hunt for these everyday.  You need to resist the default programming of looking for threats/problems and start the process of seeking out events/things in the world that are wondrous.  After time, you will begin to notice how wide and deep this can go, I call this expansion.

The universe as we know it is stacked with wonder, we simply need to get out of our own way for us to notice.
